OWNER

After graduating from Southwest Onslow High School in the class of 1993, Kirby attended CCCC’s Electrical program. After completing the program, he worked at a local electrical company for 5 years. He then became a contractor for Time Warner Cable/Spectrum. In 2000 he obtained his electrical license and began Worrell’s Electric. He is a loving husband, father, and papa. He enjoys playing softball, spending time at the beach, and cooking on the smoker.

ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE

Mike was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He’s a young father of 3 and a loving husband. His background is mostly in warehouse work, however once moving to NC he was brought on as an employee at Worrell’s Electric. He has been training along side Mr. Worrell since 2021.

PART TIME ASSISTANT

Nick was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. After serving in the USMC and having 3 deployments, he has worked as a handyman for several years, to include tree removal and roofing. He started with Worrell’s Electric in late 2022 as a part time employee as he is still working with the D.O.D several times a year.

ELECTRICAN HELPER

Shane is our newest employee, recently having graduated from Dixon High School. He has decided on a path in electrical work and is training diligently alongside Mr. Worrell.

OFFICE MANAGER

Shelby is Kirby Worrell’s oldest daughter, and mother of his only grandchild. She is new to the company and still learning the ins and outs of the business. She is in office Monday through Friday from 8am to noon. She runs our social media and will respond in a timely matter to any inquiries.
